Celebrating Black History Month with hair care is acknowledging the

achievements of black hair stylists.  Of all the hair stylists out there, I think those whose service includes afro textures have to be superstars!

On a daily basis, hair stylists that specialize in afro textures get the full extent of their knowledge tested.

Whether they have a concentration in extensions, chemical or natural services, they are expected to be able to deal with all hair troubles.  To demonstrate, here are some of the ways:

  • Some  are olympic champions that can braid hair that are an inch long into cornrows or box braids.
  • Transform heads that have issues such as alopecia into astounding hair styles.
  • Change the appearance of individuals only a plastic surgeon could understand.
  • Stand for impossible hours to achieve trendy styles.
  • Work with individuals to create styles that are only an idea and have the patience to not commit a crime until they are satisfied.
  • Help persons cover up hairstyling mistakes and mishaps.
  • Help clients look beautiful around their overboard long working hours.

In celebrating Black History Month with hair care, we must highlight these people who make people happy through their work all the while being that ear for persons willing to share their problems.  Cheers!
